You can’t miss it. Hunter’s Parachute is based on the infamous Adam’s Parachute, which made a proven dry fly pattern even more visible to the angler. Tied similarly to Hunter’s Catskill Style Dry, this fly features a hi-vis “parachute” that makes it fish more effective when casting further, in faster water, or when the glare just won’t quit. The parachute allows it to float high and well, perfect for a dry-dropper set up. Use it as a general attractor pattern or to mimic a variety of mayfly hatches, notably march browns – and coming in sizes 10-20, it won’t be hard to match whatever’s hatching.
